Live Music Capitals of the World 2026
Where is live music actually happening right now? We counted every upcoming concert listed on Gigora across 3805 cities. The result is surprising: London tops the world, ahead of Dublin and Berlin — and although the United States has more upcoming concerts than any other country, its highest-ranked city, Chicago, only comes in at #11.

Europe runs the per-city race
Europe's capitals and second cities dominate the top of the list — compact metros with dense, year-round venue circuits.
The U.S. paradox
America leads on total volume, but its concerts are spread across dozens of cities (Chicago is the highest-ranked at #11) rather than concentrated in one capital.
When is concert season?
Activity peaks in October across the dataset — useful if you're planning a music trip.
