About the artist

Elder is an acclaimed American progressive psychedelic rock band that originally formed in a small coastal town in Massachusetts in 2005 and is currently based out of Berlin, Germany. Over a career spanning more than two decades, the group has evolved from a heavy stoner/doom metal power trio into a highly intricate, dynamic quartet known for long-scale, cinematic compositions. They frequently blend crushing, heavy riffs with ethereal atmosphere, krautrock rhythms, and 1970s gatefold-era progressive grandeur.
