Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll (born 11 September 1991), commonly known by his stage name Kygo, is a Norwegian DJ and record producer. He is best known for his remix of the track "I See Fire" by Ed Sheeran, which has been played over 32 million times on SoundCloud and nearly 44 million times on YouTube. The remix entered Romania's Top 40 and has remained there for 14 weeks, peaking at number two as of 3 June 2014. Kygo has accumulated over 200 million views on his music on Soundcloud and YouTube. After a breakthrough in 2014, he was asked by Coldplay vocalist Chris Martin to create a remix for the song "Midnight". On December 1, 2014, he released his first single "Firestone", featuring vocals from Conrad (mononym for Conrad Sewell). On March 15, 2015, he released his second single, titled "Stole the Show".
