Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds in Co Dublin

About the artist
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds were formed in Melbourne in 1983, when Nick Cave gathered musicians from the Australian post-punk scene around him. The band has since become one of rock’s most enduring and respected institutions, with over forty years on the road and a catalogue spanning from the raw debut From Her to Eternity to the grand, orchestral landscapes of Ghosteen. Musically, they move between dark blues, gothic rock, spoken word and fragile balladry — often within the same concert. Cave’s voice is equal parts preacher and poet, and his lyrics circle around love, grief, faith and violence with a literary weight few other rock artists can match. Live, Nick Cave is a force without equal. He shifts between intense intimacy and explosive energy, meeting the audience with a presence that makes every concert something unique. This is an artist you don’t just watch — you experience.
