Ferreck Dawn

Ferreck Dawn is the performing name of Freek Coppens, a Dutch DJ and producer whose career in house music began in the early 2000s. His productions have appeared on labels including Spinnin' Records, Toolroom, Material, Nervous, Hey Records, Defected, Insomniac, Tomorrowland Records, and Repopulate Mars, and have drawn support from DJs such as Luciano, Carl Cox, Dubfire, Mark Knight, Pete Tong, and Tiësto.

In 2013 Ferreck Dawn collaborated with Redondo on "Tattoo Girl," released on Material Records, which became the label's best-selling track of the year and reached the Beatport Tech House Top 10. The pair followed it with "Love Too Deep," which spent three months in the Beatport Deep House Top 10 and received airplay on BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM. As a solo artist, he has also produced remixes for artists including Martin Garrix, Sander van Doorn, Steve Aoki, DVBBS, Sander Kleinenberg, Funkerman, and René Amesz, and has been featured on multiple Sensation compilations. In 2014 he signed exclusively to Spinnin' Records.

Known for a production style built around powerful drums and soulful vocal details, Ferreck Dawn has continued to perform internationally over a career spanning roughly two decades. He has headlined at OVO Arena Wembley, co-headlined a US tour with Todd Terry, played a sold-out show at Printworks London alongside Nic Fanciulli for Defected, and toured Australia and South America. He has also performed at venues including Brooklyn Mirage and Space Miami in the United States, held residencies and sessions in Ibiza, and appeared at Miami Music Week and festivals across Croatia.
